Slide 1

Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of human freedoms - to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way.
Viktor Frankl

Slide 2

A person is a fluid process, not a fixed and static entity; a flowing river of change, not a block of solid material; a continually changing constellation of potentialities, not a fixed quantity of traits.
Carl Rogers

Education comes from the Latin prefix e- and the verb ducere, meaning to lead forth. Education is about creating the condition where the student can lead forth his/her full potential

I started my studies at the University of LaVerne under the tutelage of some brilliant psychologists who were and are and inspiration in striving above and beyond. In continuation I received the Master Degree from the University of Middlesex and a journey towards a PhD will hopefully start in the near future.

Beyond academics, my passion for developing as a counselor and psychotherapist, guided me to various trainings. I started training in Systemic and Gestalt therapy and moved on to earn a Diploma in addiction counseling certified by CPCAB. I had the chance to train in Adlerian Therapy and attend ICASSI a few times, where I had the chance to attend a training facilitated by Eva Dreikurs Ferguson herself. Around the same time I also started training for a year in the Focusing Centre in Greece and then completed training in Trauma & Focusing. By that time, a memory from my academic training came into the foreground, namely that if one would train parents and teachers psychotherapists would not be needed. So I became enamored with the Gordon model and strived to become certified as a Parent, Teacher, Youth and Leader Effectiveness Trainer. I could not stop my professional development there and based on what I noticed worked best in the therapy sessions, I entered and completed training in the Person Centered Approach as initially designed by the University of Strathclyde. By that time I also came in touch with Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, which came to complete my Person Centered Training. I strongly believe that as long as I will practice my chosen profession, I will seek to further and better myself seeking relevant trainings and ironing out my skills.
