Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of human freedoms - to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way.
Viktor Frankl

A person is a fluid process, not a fixed and static entity; a flowing river of change, not a block of solid material; a continually changing constellation of potentialities, not a fixed quantity of traits.
Carl Rogers

Counseling & Psychotherapy

LifePaths-Counseling & Psychotherapy Services offers counseling and psychotherapy services to teenagers, adults, couples and families. We are guided by humanistic values believing unwaveringly that every individual is inherently capable of making his/her own choices, through developing his/her self awareness and free will. Thus we learn to contribute to self and others, and to cooperate with each other in creative and courageous ways that result in a harmonious life with one self, the family and the wider society. The full potential of an individual, a couple or a family can released by offering an non-judgmental, accepting, safe  and empathic environment, that allows the everyone to be themselves.

Personally I believe that adolescence can best be described with the literary term “Sturm und Drang”. It is an amazing time for a child is no longer a child and neither an adult. It is a time for searching for whom one is, and who one wants to become. It can be full of trial and error, experimentation, passion and rejection. I offer counseling/psychotherapy services in English, Greek and German. My clients come from various economic and cultural backgrounds and have diversity emotional and other disturbances they wish to grow…

The ‘therapists’ act as facilitators, however ideally, each member of the group will grow to act as a facilitator. Overtime, an outsider would not be really able to distinguish who the “therapist” is. In general the encounter group assists the participants to come in touch with themselves, their deeper feelings and learn to express them effectually, so with improving the relation with self and…

Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy has its roots in attachment theory and the way I have been trained, seems to find its full potential within the Person Centered Approach. The leading pioneer is Dr. Sue Johnson, who continuous to research and evaluate the approach. Comparative studies have shown its effectiveness in a majority of cases. Couples therapy is not about right or wrong, it is about helping the couple move out of their vicious cycle of disconnectedness and help them find a way to reconnect and hold each other tight. This…
